For the first time in our country’s history, three women now serve on the Supreme Court. This fact is monumental in that studies have shown that three is the tipping point, the magical number that allows for free expression among a group or board dominated by the other sex.

 

According to an article written by Dahlia Lithwick, with three women each woman feels as if she is not representing all women, but only herself. This gives way for their individual perspectives to be expressed openly and unfettered.
