Summer is the perfect time to explore our beautiful state. We want to inspire you to pack up the car and get out there and enjoy it. Here are some sites in western Washington where you can go to have fun with your family.
- Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument – learn about the 1980 eruption and see the destruction it caused, and explore the recovering landscape.
- Seattle – pick up some flowers at the Pike Street Market or visit the Seattle Art Museum, then ride themonorail to the Seattle Center to take in the view from the Space Needle and go to the Experience Music
Project, or just hop on a ferry to explore Puget Sound. - Olympic National Park – run your toes through the sand and visit the small communities along the coast. Each little town has something special, like the Cranberry Museum in Grayland.
- Mt. Rainier National Park – stunning views of the majestic peak, with hikes that suit every athletic ability and scenic drives to suit every taste.
Our family has been in Washington for generations and we couldn’t be more proud of our home state.
