Leonor R. Fuller – Retired – We Treat You Like Family

Leonor began work as an attorney at Fuller & Fuller in 1991. She was awarded Juris Doctor, Master of Arts, and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Washington

Over the course of her legal career, Leonor served as a criminal prosecutor and an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Seattle Law Department. She argued cases in municipal, district, superior, and appellate courts. She tried nearly 80 jury trials in criminal and civil cases and tried hundreds of criminal bench trials.

Leonor later devoted her time to helping people and families with injury cases. She understood that when people contacted her law firm, they were going through a challenging and disruptive time in their lives. She was committed to helping clients work through the daunting and complex aspects of insurance law.

Leonor strongly believes in the importance of giving back to the community. She volunteered countless hours in leadership positions in many professional and community organizations. She served as the Chair of the Women of Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ), an organization that works to protect the rights of her clients. Leonor was also one of the original board members of the WSAJ Foundation, which supported WSAJ’s work in appeals of cases that benefited people like her clients.

Governors Locke and Gregoire appointed Leonor to the Board of Trustees of South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC), a five member board that oversaw different aspects of governance for the college and its students. Leonor was elected twice as Chair of the Board of Trustees of SPSCC and was one of the longest serving community college trustees in the state.

Leonor is a loyal UW Husky and remained active and engaged in her law school as a member of the University of Washington School of Law Leadership Council, an advisory board to the law school.

Leonor was a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Thurston County Bar Association, and the Washington State Association of Justice. She was admitted to practice in the United District Court (Western Washington) and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Leonor was also admitted to the United States Supreme Court Bar Association.

Leonor is married to Jay Fuller, another former attorney in the firm.

Leonor is now retired from the practice of law.
