Did you know that a teen with an intermediate driver’s license is not permitted to use a cell phone while driving – except to report an emergency? A new law that went into effect last year, SSB 6345, states that even hands-free devices are not to be used by teens behind the wheel. So long as the driver has an intermediate driver’s license, driving and using a cell phone is not allowed under Washington law!
