Seniors and others with Medicare can now review their Medicare plan options and make changes if they wish during the Medicare open enrollment period. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) hopes that consumers will take the opportunity to review the available plans, compare the offerings with their needs, and make choices that will be most beneficial to the consumers. CMS has also created the “Medicare Plan Finder”, which offers reviews of the plans by Medicare plan participants. If you find a “5-star plan,” Medicare beneficiaries can switch to that plan at any time!
